This gourd is dual-purpose-can be used in cooking or as autumn decor! These colorful orange and green gourds reach 8" in diameter and store well for future meals or decorating projects. It matures in about 100 days.

The origin of gourds has been a subject of debate for decades. Archaelogical findings seem to show that Asia first domesticated the gourd for use as a container, though Africa and several island nations such as Polynesia and New Zealand also have an early history of using gourds as fishing floats, bottles, or musical instruments. Recent research shows that North America's gourds are nearly as old as those of Asia, which seems to suggest that early peoples who settled in the New World brought gourds with them

    About Jenny.

    SIP, SOAK & GROW

Welcome to my page! As a long-time resident of Geauga, avid animal lover, macro & anything photographer, gardener and crafter, my journey began in 2007 when I faced the challenges of severe, aggressive seropositive RA. With my daughter by my side, during recovery from over 2 dozen surgeries and healing through the adversity of being disabled, I found solace learning the art of soap making and later ventured into glass making, wound care formulations, body care and horticulture. A former state military soldier (Army), I also work in the legal field for over 13 years and raise Indian runner ducks with two dogs, Ava (BorderAussie) and Murphy (Goldador), and two hilarious cats on the 6 acre scenic farm.
My therapy is in each creation and photography as reflection of my love for nature and healing. I am also inspired by grandfather's gardening, propagation & permaculture wisdom. I believe in the power of thoughtful gifts, reminding you that you matter, having a peaceful environment and through my work, I aim to spread care, positivity and creativity to others.

So please, pause…Sip the coffee, Soak in self-care, and Grow in all ways with positivity and with what nature provides us.
